Chocolate is a must have in any diet. Just always remember, quantity is key. The key to being slim and eating whatever you want is to keep an eye on your portions and never overdo it!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Plain flour
- 2 cups Sugar
- 3/4 cup Cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
Method:
- Prepare a baking tray with a little bit of oil and preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius
- Mix together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl mix together water, oil and vanilla. Whisk well.
- Slowly start adding the liquids to the flour mixture. Mix well.
- Pour into baking tray and level where needed
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes.
- Cool for about 15 minutes before cutting into desired squares
- Note: The chocolate slice can be taken out of the oven when the top is no longer shiny.
