Obesity has become alarmingly high over the past few decades. Rising to about 1,4 billion adults being overweight and a whopping 40 million children under the age of 5 being overweight.
Obesity can be prevented! Watching what we eat and cutting down on soda, sugar, fast food and processed foods can do wonders. I personally believe it all starts with the parents. Keeping an eye on your children and what they are eating, is fairly easy. I’ve had a sweet tooth since I can remember. My mom would buy candy every now and again and would not be afraid to tell me when she thinks I’ve had enough. This is not nasty or cruel, if she hadn’t done so, I would have most probably continued this nasty habit.
Today I still have a sweet tooth but I can regulate the amount of ‘bad’ foods I eat and I know when to cut back a bit. I am a fairly skinny person and people always have comments on what I am eating and how little. But this is how one should eat. Try not to eat 3 big meals a day but rather 5-6 small ones. Snack on things like dried fruit, raw nuts and grains. Stop drinking sodas and rather opt for juice, coffee or tea (low sugar of course). By living a daily balanced lifestyle you can indulge (moderately) every now and again, without feeling guilty.
If you are already struggling with your weight you can give weight loss a boost by doing Ozone Therapy. An Ozone Sauna is a capsule you sit in, with your head protruding from the top. When closed a combination of Ozone, steam and/or far infrared is introduced into the capsule. A session takes about 30 minutes and can reach temperatures of about 40 degrees Celsius, depending on your own preference. You can loose up to 500 calories per 30 minutes session. Ozone therapy may also improve your metabolism, lower cholesterol, improve blood pressure, improve blood circulation, reduce cellulite, break up fatty deposits, reduce chances of developing diabetes and may help balance out your hormones.
Can we stop the fight against obesity?
