Another important factor: our eating habits. Many risks are associated with poor nutrition:
   – Weakened immune system
   – Weak bones
   – Weakened muscles, poor skin tone etc.

Breakfast, according to experts is the most important meal of the day, but to us something we can skip, or at best a breakfast cereal bar. Then not to forget the strong coffee with added caffeine and a nice full cream milk to give it a lighter color. Sounds perfect?

A strong connection exists between bad breakfast and many health-related problems.

Our body consists of 100 trillion cells which need 114+ various nutrients during the day. The energy you spent today needs to be replenished. Nutrients help our bodies to regenerate itself while we sleep. We also use 1 liter of water during the night through breathing, sweating and the morning visit to the bathroom. So all in all, we end up “empty” in the morning.

We need a balanced diet to ensure we “top ourselves up”. A few tips on what a balanced diet may contain:
   – Protein from lean meats, fish and soy
   – Colorfull fruits and veggies provide antioxidants
   – Fiber from fruits, veggies and whole grains to clear toxins
   – Healthy fats from fish oils, nuts and avocado
   – Milk protein from low-fat and fat free products

A couple of hints to help you in your daily struggle:
   – Keep it fresh and low in fat
   – Rinse fruits and veggies (ozonated water kills 99% of pesticides)
   – Switch from white to multi-grain bread
   – When serving meat, fish or chicken, grill instead of fry
   – Avoid overeating! Keep portions to the size of your palm or fist
   – A multi-vitamin can also ensure you’re getting all the nutrients you need

Eat your way to your new Wellness level!!
