This banana bread recipe is very quick, easy and definitely delicious. You can also use this recipe to make banana muffins. Best served cold with a bit of butter.
Ingredients:
- 125 g Margarine
- 250 ml Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 500 ml Flour
- 10 ml Baking powder
- 4 to 6 Ripe bananas
- 2.5 ml Salt
- 5 ml Vanilla
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
- Whisk margarine and sugar until creamy
- Add Vanilla essence
- Add eggs one by one. Whisk well (preferably with electrical whisk)
- Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture
- Purée bananas and add to mixture
- Bake for about one hour
- Serve and enjoy!
