[Recipe] Dairy Free Banana Bread

This banana bread recipe is very quick, easy and definitely delicious. You can also use this recipe to make banana muffins. Best served cold with a bit of butter.


  • 125 g Margarine
  • 250 ml Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 500 ml Flour
  • 10 ml Baking powder
  • 4 to 6 Ripe bananas
  • 2.5 ml Salt
  • 5 ml Vanilla


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  2. Whisk margarine and sugar until creamy
  3. Add Vanilla essence
  4. Add eggs one by one. Whisk well (preferably with electrical whisk)
  5. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture
  6. Purée bananas and add to mixture
  7. Bake for about one hour
  8. Serve and enjoy!
