How many of us actually know what a detox is? We all use the word but none of us actually know exactly how to detox.
Most people think a detox is when you only drink 100% fruit juice and liquidize any meals you might want to eat if the “Juice-only” diet is not enough. This in fact it false. Yes, detox is when you cancel out harmful or not easily digested foods like bread, meat, sugar and fat.
Lets start at the beginning.
What is detox? 
  • Detox or detoxification is when you neutralize or eliminate toxins in your body caused by medicine, food and overall unhealthy lifestyle. 
How do you detox? 
  • The best way is to eliminate any chemicals you may ingest by eating Organic foods.
  • Eat foods that are high in vitamins, antioxidants and other nutrients that the body will need to be able to detox.
  • Eat high fiber foods and drink lots of water to improve frequency of urination and bowel movements
  • Do enough exercise!
  • Ozone Therapy is also a great way to detox. As it eliminates toxins and impurities in the blood. It also improves vitamin and mineral absorption helping you get the most out of your detox diet.
Now for a great recipe:
[Recipe] Detox your body
  • 2 tbsp Ginger (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 Beet (chopped)
  • 4 Carrots (medium; chopped)
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 cup Water
Method 1:
  1. In a blender, combine ginger, beet, carrots, apple and water.
  2. Blend, scraping off sides continuously
  3. Strain juice, may add extra water depending on your taste
  4. Drink juice immediately as some nutrients gets lost as time passes
Method 2:
  1. Use a juicer and add ginger, beet, carrots and apple
  2. Extra water depending on your taste
  3. Drink juice immediately as some nutrients gets lost as time passes
NOTE: Offcuts and extra waste can be worked into your garden as compost, adding some nutrients to your soil.
