No matter what your ingredients preference might be we all love pizza! This recipe is a wonderful substitute which your whole family will enjoy.
Makes 4 medium pizza bases
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Gluten free flour blend
- 1 additional teaspoon xanthan gum*
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbs grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 1/2 cups plain sparkling water
- 2 tbs honey
- 2 tbs olive oil
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius
- In a mixing bowl combine flour blend, xanthan gum, baking powder, herbs, cheese and salt
- Add sparkling water, honey and olive oil.
- Combine well
- Divide dough into 4 equal pieces
- Spread dough on baking pan
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly golden.
- Remove base and let it cool slightly.
- Top your base with preferred sauce, toppings and cheese
- Bake for a further 10-15 minutes.
- Eat and enjoy!!
