[Recipe] Gluten free pizza crust

No matter what your ingredients preference might be we all love pizza! This recipe is a wonderful substitute which your whole family will enjoy.

 Makes 4 medium pizza bases

 Ingredients:

  •  2 cups Gluten free flour blend
  • 1 additional teaspoon xanthan gum*
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbs grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups plain sparkling water
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 2 tbs olive oil

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius
  2. In a mixing bowl combine flour blend, xanthan gum, baking powder,  herbs, cheese and salt
  3. Add sparkling water, honey and olive oil.
  4. Combine well
  5. Divide dough into 4 equal pieces
  6. Spread dough on baking pan
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly golden.
  8. Remove base and let it cool slightly.
  9. Top your base with preferred sauce, toppings and cheese
  10. Bake for a further 10-15 minutes.
  11. Eat and enjoy!!
