This sorbet recipe is super easy to make and takes about 15 minutes. Great for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 200g Sugar
- 275ml Water
- 5 Lemons; juice and zest
- 3 Limes; juice and zest
- A few Peppermint leaves; finely chopped
Method:
- In a saucepan, heat sugar and water until it starts to boil. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
- With a grater, gently grate the skin of the lemons and limes into a bowl
- Now you can juice all the lemons and limes
- In a freezer proof dish, mix together the water mixture, zest, juice and peppermint.
- Place in freezer for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. If the sorbet is a bit runny place it in the freezer again and check on it every 30 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
