We all love a juicy beef kabab, especially when enjoying a BBQ with friends and family during the summer months. This recipe yields 5 kababs, each kabab contains about 172 calories.
Ingredients:
- 500g Beef tenderloin
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Green pepper, cut into 20 squares
- 10 Cherry tomatoes
- 10 Mushrooms, average sized
- 2 Yellow squash, cut into 10 slices
- 1/8 tsp Black pepper
- Cooking spray
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Method:
- Prepare your BBQ (grill). The wood or charcoal takes some time to light and get to the right temperature so make sure to start your fire well in advance.
- Now for making your kababs. Cut the meat into 2cm cubes and place in mixing bowl. Sprinkle the meat with the Worcestershire sauce and salt.
- Thread meat, pepper, tomatoes, mushrooms and squash onto a skewer. Sprinkle with pepper.
- Place kababs on BBQ and grill uncovered for about 10 minutes until done.
- Serve and enjoy!
NOTE: Soak your wooden skewers for about 30 minutes in water before threading the meat and vegetables. This will prevent the skewers from burning.
