[Recipe] DIY stretch mark bars

As all women get older we meet our dear friend “The Stretch Mark”. Although we despise him he just never seems to go away. This recipe is a great way to aid you in fighting off stretch marks. This bar should be used daily and will also help moisturize your skin to prevent future stretch marks. Great for pregnant women.

Ingredients:

  • double boiler
  • 60g Bees wax
  • 60g Shea butter
  • 60g Coconut oil
  • Plastic containers (the size you would like your bars to be)

Method:

  1. Heat up your double boiler or pour water into a pot and place a metal bowl that fits on top of the pot.
  2. Measure out all your ingredients.
  3. Add your Beeswax to the bowl and let it melt, then add coconut oil and shea butter.
  4. Stir mixture gently until everything is melted and combined completely.
  5. Remove bowl from pot and pour hot liquid into your containers.
  6. You may add some essential oils to your individual containers. A few drops will suffice.
  7. Set aside to cool completely.
  8. When cooled, pop out each bar and store in an airtight container.
  9. These bars can also be used as your daily hand soap.
